Poet's Statment

In an effort to raise monies for The Tyler Howarth Scholarship and Equipment Fund and keep the spirit of my son involved with his community and school, myself along with Carole Hale, illustrator, and my 13-year-old son, Clay, are putting together a book of poems and art. The book, Beyond the Earth, not only speaks about Tyler and his life to friends and family, but also to all parents that need to take the time to treasure moments with their children. As well, it speaks to those who have had the misfortune of losing a child and are searching for a path through grief to find hope.
